Sonder Agency was launched in 2016 by founder and business venturist, Nathan Puente, with the vision of a creative studio for innovators, educators and trailblazers. The company name is an invented word pulled from author John Koenig’s The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows where it is defined as, “The realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.” This is a concept that inspires us to think deeper about the work we do and how we live as individuals. Other people are real, our purpose is to create, and growth is impossible without change.
